- Maui Jim receives website and social media branding
- Drivers are required to wear sunglasses at events during the season
Formula 1 team Haas has announced a new partnership with eyewear brand Maui Jim.
As part of the deal, drivers Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin, along with other members of the team, will wear Maui Jim’s sunglasses in the Formula 1 paddock.
In addition, Maui Jim will be branded across all Haas platforms, including on the track and online through the team’s website and social media channels.
“Maui Jim is a very welcome addition to our list of partners as a global brand and an innovative leader in its field,” said Gunther Steiner, team principal at Haas.
“Their sunglasses are inherently stylish, but what’s more impressive is the investment they make in their technology and how that is then reflected in the quality of the product available to the consumer.
“With a global reach and a passion for performance, the synergies between what they do as a brand and what we do as a team competing in Formula 1 – well it’s a perfect fit and we’re excited to have them welcome to the team. ”
The 2021 Formula 1 season will continue on June 27 at the Red Bull Ring in Austria.
Mazepin and Schumacher will wear Maui Jim’s sunglasses at races.
